This website is the outcome of our class, entitled “Programmation et projet encadré I”, taken during the first semester of Master’s 1 PluriTAL (INALCO, Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle and Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense) and taught by Jean-Michel DAUBE and Serge FLEURY.

As you will later find, linguistics and programming are two disciplines, closely linked in this project. Our target was to create a program which would be capable of browsing websites, downloading and extracting the environment of a given word, and filling the results into tables. The ultimate point of the project lies in the interpretation of the given word's environment, and its comparison in different working languages. Furthermore, for the analysis of our data, we will be using a lexicometric tool, Trameur.
