POP-UP STORE : FRENCH KISS ASIA
The French Kiss Asia pop-up store, which takes place this week at the Forum Des Halles, will feature more than twenty brands from seven different countries. Between Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Japan, China, Singapore and France the aim is to present and highlight young emerging creators coming from the other side of the globe with common passions : the emergence of new aesthetic, environmental and social trends. The cultural diversity brought by all these international creators will highlight the different creative and eco-responsible approaches to exhibits.
ETHICALLY ENGAGED BRANDS
The concept of ‘French Kiss Asia’ is to reunite a selection of designers with a similar ethical and eco-responsible philosophy – as seen in these brands: • Rusmin is a French-based label creating clothing from 100% upcycled & reclaimed materials. The result is a selection of stylish neo-Parisian pieces. • SOE Jakarta is an Indonesian brand that harnesses traditional weaving techniques and local savoir-faire to create a range of contemporary designs with ancestral charm. • Coffee Psycho is a Chinese accessories company creating designs from coffee grounds. • Duren is a Japanese brand and the only one of its kind to create bags from a unique leather and aluminium sheet blend.
