Neither my husband nor his wife seems to think this is odd. My husbandʼs family are all quite touchy-feely while my own tend to be pretty reserved. But on the last two occasions he kissed me, my father-in-law has also put his tongue in my mouth. I hate it, but what do I do to make him stop doing this? A THERE is touchy-feely and thereʼs inappropriate behaviour. Your father-in-law is in the second category. You should tell your husband so he can have an unquiet word with his dad. If you donʼt want to do that immediately, get your father-in-law on his own and you tell him if he ever does it again, you will scream the house down. Also insist that from now on, if he kisses you at all, it is only on the cheek.
