Nervous breakdown * Thread starter MatthewJAJ * Start date Jun 7 , 2017 * Tags anxiety breakdown distant mental breakdown nervous breakdown M MatthewJAJ New member Joined Jun 7 , 2017 Messages 2 Jun 7 , 2017 * * # 1 My girlfriend had a nervous breakdown 3 and a half weeks ago she was Very distant that day ( only 1 or two messages when usually we are constantly texting ) since then she ' s been distant we text often but she won ' t meet and when she does agree to meet up she cancels last minute I ' ve seen her twice since her nervous breakdown 3 and a half weeks ago . She also " blows up " and The slightest comment she never turned up to her followup doctors appointment because she ' s worried about them taking her son away . I love her and I want to be there to support her but she won ' t let me . I fear she ' s going to have another breakdown and don ' t know what to do . Not knowing that , it ' s hard to comment . It is unlikely that they will take away her child because of one nervous breakdown . This can either be handled with psychology , talking to a counselor , or one could go the medical route with pills . I ' d try talking therapy first . Still , I ' d feel better commenting if I knew what happened to her . She hadn ' t been paid im over a month . Meaning she was over due on rent bills no food etc . ( too proud to accept money from me ) her abusive ex had been harassing and threatening her . She has no family was in care from young age those age the main things . Lots of other stress toop . My family says she has too many issues and I should leave her but that ' s not happening . I love her too much . As I said she just blows up at the slightest comment if I told her she needs help she would . I don ' t want to loose her . Even if I did tell her it ' s not something to say by text and she won ' t meet up with me . You must log in or register to reply here .
