About Us
We’re building a stronger Montgomery County by responding to the needs of the county’s growing Latino population. Identity’s primary focus is on assisting in-school and out-of-school Latino youth and their families who live in high poverty areas of Montgomery County and are most at-risk for poor academic and economic life outcomes.
Who We Serve
Latino youth are the bedrock of our community’s future – but many of them face tremendous challenges that severely limit their options and opportunities. At the same time, these youth bring many strengths: love of family, pride in their culture, an eagerness to succeed, and an impressive resilience to forge ahead in spite of the hardships they have endured.

These stories show how determined Identity youth are to overcome challenges and create a better future for themselves and their community.
Identity accepts client referrals for programs and services provided through our Youth Opportunity Centers (YOCs), which are located in Gaithersburg and Takoma Park.
