A 98-year-old woman just moved to a nursing home to help take care of her 80-year-old son.
Ada Keating became a resident at Moss View care home in Liverpool, U.K., about one year after her son, Tom, moved there. They are since inseparable.

Staff at the home say that the pair enjoys playing board games and watching the British soap opera “Emmerdale” together.
“It’s very touching to see the close relationship both Tom and Ada share and we are so pleased we were able to accommodate both of their needs,” Philip Daniels, the manager of Moss View Care Home, told the Liverpool Echo. “It’s very rare to see mothers and their children together in the same care home and we certainly want to make their time together as special as possible.”
Tom is the eldest of four siblings, three of which are still alive. His two sisters, Barbara and Margi, come to the retirement home to visit.
Tom and Ada are particularly close as Tom never married and lived with Ada for practically his whole life. Their family is happy that the pair can be reunited — and that Ada is continuing her habits as a mother.
“Sometimes she'll say ‘behave yourself,” Tom told the Liverpool Echo. “She's very good at looking after me.”
