Nottingham Forest owner and chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has been pictured on a social networking site holding what appears to be a rifle, next to what looks like a ram.

In the Instagram photo, the millionaire is smiling with one hand on the gun and another on the animal's horns.

It is not clear if the animal is dead or alive.

The ram is the mascot and nickname of Forest's main rivals, Derby County.

It is not clear if the animal is dead If it wasn't then Fawaz would be in trouble. It could easily kill a man.

Why are people so easily offended? Do they deliberately go out looking for some grievance? Fawaz likes hunting and he does so legally. He also posted a picture of a stag so the ram had nothing to do with Derby. You know what you can do with the animals after shooting them? You can eat them. It's more humane than all of the moaners here buying their meat from a supermarket.

What is Fawaz thinking? No doubt thought it was funny to incite the Derby fans by this ill advised gaff. I really think the people of Nottingham (excluding some of the blind faithful) have had enough of this joker. Full of false promises, and what has he done? Reduced Forest to a club that can't even pay its bills. FFP has actually saved us from being in a worse mess. I don't see any solution, as this guy is going to want is 'loans' back before he leaves, and no one is going to buy Forest in its current state. Fawaz has reduced this once proud club into an embarrassment. Rant over.

The attention seeking idiot decided to post this in the last 2 days on his Instagram. So irrelevant how old the photo is. Why doctor think he did that. In wake of Cecil lion incident he just likes garnering attention. Just like his infamous portrait with Clough.

At least the 'Lost That Loving feeling' web site satire on the picture has some humour to it.If Fawaz has actually posted this (presumably in an attempt at humour) it shows yet again his desperate need for a CEO ,or equivalent, who can curb his ill advised, even if well intentioned, forays into the realms of social media. As it is,he seems determined to lurch from one embarrassment to another.Unfortunately,it's our image as a club that gets tarnished by association. If he's not actually posted the picture, the sooner clarification of the fact, the better

The timing of this so soon after the "Cecil" incident just confirms the judgement of the man.
