In The Interview, James Franco and Seth Rogen's characters are recruited by the CIA to kill Kim Jong Un after landing an interview with him. A North Korean spokesman told AFP that the act of screening a movie that portrays an attack on top leadership is an "act of terror." The spokesman said if Sony Pictures does release the film in October, as planned, there will be "merciless" retaliation against the U.S.
