A warm-hearted look at the comedy phenomenon Still Game is one of the highlights of BBC Scotland's Hogmanay TV line-up.

Still Game: The Story So Far will look back at the popular comedy series, which this year sold out a 21-night run at Glasgow's Hydro arena.

The programme will include actor Martin Compston, TV presenter Lorraine Kelly and film star Robbie Coltrane.

The Hogmanay TV line-up also includes the ever-popular Only an Excuse .

Jonathan Watson's comedy satire of the year, including the Commonwealth Games and the referendum, will hand over to Jackie Bird, Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain as they welcome the New Year from the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow in Hogmanay Live 2014.

Still Game, featuring Scotland's favourite pensioners Jack and Victor played by Ford Keirnan and Greg Hemphill, was first shown on the BBC in 2002. It ran for 44 episodes before coming to an end at the height of its popularity in 2007.

This year, the two stars, who had not spoken for years, got the Craiglang gang back together for a record-breaking run of shows at the 10,000 seat capacity Glasgow Hydro arena.

Still Game: The Story So Far is on BBC One Scotland at 22:00 on 31 December.

Ford and Greg will also appear in their own radio show on BBC Radio Scotland on Christmas Day from 09:30 to 11:00.

Other Scottish Christmas schedule highlights include Rory Bremner's comic review of a historic 12 months, interviewing some of the key figures.
