Could not subscribe, try again later [MAIN-Ice-Cube-pics-mock-refugees-commentators.jpg] Tricked: Creator intended to fool Britain First supporters into sharing post A brilliant pro-refugee satirical Facebook post featuring rap legend Ice Cube has gone viral. Micky Williams posted images of the star in a kayak and brandishing a gun alongside Cypress Hill rapper B-Real. He added English Defence League and Britain First insignia to the post, reports the Birmingham Mail . Those groups have warned that ISIS terrorists could be hiding among the large numbers of refugees trying to get into Europe from Syria. The accompanying message read: “This Muslim convert Isis soldier is pictured here on a boat crossing from Syria into Greece on 23/8/15. “The second picture is the same Muslim convert Isis soldier pictured in a block of high-rise flats in Balsall Heath, Birmingham, on 13/9/15. “They’re here. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.” Satire: The Facebook post Mikey told the Huffington Post he created the post “to basically mock people who consistently share anti-refugee propaganda/Islamaphobic posts”. He said: “I see it all too often on Facebook where people share stuff designed to fear monger others and it works. “I was hoping they would share it and make themselves look a bit stupid. “To be fair this has worked a treat on a fair few of these people with the first comment back to their shared post usually being 'Mate, are you serious? That’s Ice Cube, an American rapper'." Micky said he was amazed by the reaction to the post, which was uploaded on Tuesday and has since been shared more than 20,000 times. Writing on Facebook the same day, he said: “Since I posted this earlier, I’ve had over 100 friend request from Muslims all over the world laughing at the satire behind it and Britain First supporters outraged by it thinking its real. “The internet never fails to amaze me, ever. “Most people get that it’s a joke but a good ten per cent reposted it in disgust. “A fair few felt the need to point out that it’s Ice Cube, the rapper and actor from America, assuming nobody else in the world knew. “Amazing, simply amazing.” The kayak image is from 2005 comedy Are We There Yet while the image of him holding the gun is from his early days with NWA.
