Police commissioner Shankar Bidari said the change will lead to saving 15 minutes of driving time. Consequently, Gopalagowda circle and K R Circle will get decongested to some extent, he added. No parking will be allowed on either side of Palace Road. AT HOSUR ROAD JUNCTION With widening of Hosur Road, traffic police are planning to introduce two-way traffic between Sarjapur checkpost and Madiwala police station. Bidari said the change will prevent 3 kilometres of extra driving for LMVs. No parking will be allowed on both the sides of Hosur Road on the stretch. However, heavy vehicles including buses will continue to pass Krupanidhi College as earlier. No right turn will be allowed at Madiwala police station from Krupanidhi College side. Motorists going towards the city centre should use Sarjapur Road or 80-Feet Road. Alternatively, such commuters may proceed towards Silk Board and take a U-turn under the flyover.
