   landmark decision has been made by the Department for Transport making
   selected one-way streets two-way for cyclists in Kensington & Chelsea.
   
   The Royal Borough will trial ‘no entry except for cyclists’ signs on
   five one-way streets. The measure has required special permission
   because it contravened existing traffic regulations.

   The new sign comes after an unsuccessful trial of ‘flying motorcycle
   signs’ (motor vehicles only) caused motorists to drive the wrong way
   up one-way streets due to confusion over their meaning.
