Electronics Recycling Causes Traffic Jam In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) ― There was a rush on recycling Saturday. So many people dropped off their old electronics they caused a traffic jam.

Old computer monitors, televisions and VCRs piled up at the Listen Up headquarters on Evans Avenue.

Some 3,000 people tried to drop off their used equipment for recycling. The line was so long it backed up traffic.

Police were called in to help and the popular event was closed early.
